افتراضي A golden advice

Well ...I don't know I may be useful hear .. of course all of the members advices for improving the English language learners standered are useful… whether about practicing the reading and the writing skills or to have extra help of lessons in them…….
What I can add is :
" Put in your mind that is the look for the English language is changed now as an International language and it needs days to explain how and why, so based on this and for some one at a needed help level hear is the great golden advice ":
" Don't spend most of your concentration on the accuracy of your message whether spoken message or written one unless it is important formally for a job or as an assignment.., you have to focus mostly on the fluency of your message as long as it is clear "
accuracy is always a later on step which a learner of a language never comes to in reach unless an effort of fluency must be achieved .... because both processes accuracy and fluency are same time on going procedures ,but differs in the time of priority the learner of the language should have to give for them.
It needs lots of explanation to tell you why, which I don't have the time for ,but
believe me am giving you a professional advice…..Good luck

Thanx المستغفره for your golden advice , and let us not to forget that practicing the language most important

And here I have some ideas for speaking and practicing English language conversations

Improve your skills in speaking English will help you to communicate better and more easy and effective.

But how can you become a good English speaker????

  • Practice the language everywhere & every time: the exercise is good for any of the language, whether you're talking to a person who’s mother tongue is English or not.
  • Try not to translate: to and from your mother tongue, because form one side it takes long time on the other side makes you hesitant and non-confident and more hesitant.
  • If you forget a word: Do the same what original English language do all the time, and say anything to fill the conversation This is better than to stay silent and try to use the term (Mmmmmm) When the word forget.
  • Do not speak too fast: it is useful to use a normal pace when you speak English, but when you speaks more quickly than required, it will be difficult for people to understand you
  • Try to relax: When you talk, when the English-speaking at normal speed, you will find that many of the skills of speech, such as the link between the words will come automatically
  • And remember when you speak English try to be less hesitant and more confident
  • Try not to be shy, the more you tried not to be shy the more you learn and have self-confident
  • Always remember to be polite -0 Use - Please and Thank you if you ask the person to make something for you

I agree.. I even can find it among the English people themselves.. especially in the street and the market.. they don't care about how to put the words together.. as long as you can deliver an understandable amount of talk.

The good thing about the english people that they don't laugh at or mock people who speak english as a 2nd language even if they mistake.. where when it comes to us, when we hear someone talking in a broken arabic we will go k3k3k3k.. as if we speak our own language in a perfect mode.

However.. when it comes to universities or colleges.. it really requires a great amount of work on the language because it's counted when your work goes under assessment.

Mashallah you are excellent girl and full of excitement Nissmah…

What you have preceded is very very useful as an application stage ,where the learner
is applying the language in use and specifically the "practice" as a tool of learning the language and I recommend it very strongly for all of the learners to be as a habit that needs to be promoted continuously and non stop process, but lets not make it
harder for the" very needed help stage learners" as I like usually to name it.

Basically what I tried to make as a point in this thread is completely different than the use of practice as an application procedures as what Nissmah perfectly described…..
.
What I am shading hear is that , usually the learner at this stage is mostly confused ..might have a particular amount of the language but still have some problems in different skills of the language ,so in this case a learner should have a brake and have a cup of coffee and think carefully of
The next paragraph

"Every learner of a language has his/ her agenda of back ground that he applies his learning of the language accordingly. If his back ground of learning the language main focus was
to learn the language seeking to produce the accurate out come of his language in an attentively attempts just as "Nissma's advices" ,he or she will achieve slower progress in the language expectedly, because accuracy is the higher level of the language that preceded of lot of practice that can be more useful and more productive if the learner acted in fluent way that contains mistakes or may be creative forms of the language that might not sometimes even exist but have the ability to develop a clear concept. By time such skills will lead to some more developed skills of accuracy. This is not encouraged as a goal by itself .It is encouraged as an earlier steps that have in mind accuracy as a long term target."

IN SHORT :

"fluency as an adoption to use the language leads to fluent accuracy"
