Dental Phobiaaa :D ??? do u suffer it ???

Whenever you pass a sign for a dental surgery, or you JUST remebered that you have an appointment with the DENTIST , immediately your heart starts racing , you can feel the heat rising to your face , and you become shaky and nervous

IF SO

THEN You may be one of the many people who suffer from dental phobia!

BY THE WAY ...A "phobia" is traditionally defined as "an irrational severe fear that leads to avoidance of the feared situation, object or activity" (even though the Greek word "phobia" simply means fear...).

But come to think of it I have fear of many things

Cockroaches,
Heights,
Tight and closed areas
Umm I think that is it


Back to the topic

I avoid any visits to the dentist if I can do so. I don’t like the thing they use to drill, don’t like the pain I feel, don’t like that I cant see what they are doing to me, I can only feel the pain.

and even if it dont hurt i know next time it will for sure.

in the past when I was child i had felt by shocking when the dentist decided to remove my teeth, that moment I thought the dentist would kill me,in a prsent the dentist dose not scare me whatever was my pain

well i wrote this thread cuz i had bad times when i was a child like you

I have a long history with dentists all over McT. .

Its all because my habit of eating Chocolate regulary. I remeber once (( and this is an old story I think 10 yaers ago )) my brother took me to a dentist .. and we waited there 4 about 2 hours,, but when the moment of truth came and it was finally my turn ,, I ran all over the hospital to avoid the dentist.. and it worked ..

nowdays am fearless when it comes to visiting them..

Silly story but I just wanted to share it with all of u >>

I went 4 years ago and he injected me with the anesthetic it didnt work then the 2nd injection didnt also work then 3rd one! Gee it was awful he asked me if im coffee addict and i dont even drink coffee! anyways after the 3rd injection my tooth was finally numb it was a really bad experience hope it never happens to anyone!

the way I got it was
coffee= caffiene
injections=anesthetics
I guess this is how he thought
high caffiene intake higher blood pressure anesthetics lower you BP so it takes longer to lower a high bp i guess not sure though or he just asked for the sake of asking! didnt give it enough thought!
