I met his father yesterday. He was quiet cut up about his son's behavior. Jeffrey This is unfortunate. Adam used to be a good student. We must help him when he returns. Samuel Yes, we must. Explanation : Cut up - distressed, upset Example : Philip was very cut up about his grandmother's death. |
