i know i get this topic so early here. sis and bro Once again we approach the blessed month of Ramadhan which presents an opportunity for us to strengthen our Iman, purify our hearts, and cleanse our souls from the evil effects of sin.

what is ur plan of this month? do u want to fast as previous year or is there new technique or idea u want to follow up?

plz share ur idea they might be the reason for other to follow them too.

I havent had a complete Ramadan with my family for about 5 years

in every ramadan I finish only 20 or less parts of holy Qur'an
so this year I'm planning to finish all holy Qur'an + not watching any drama series
my dad keep telling: " stop watching TV, read some Qur'an..how can you waste this great days on watching TV ?! " and after that he says : "وكل من أكثر منه ماجد .. أقله في اليوم جزء واحد''

I'll take his advice this year inshaa allah

inshaallah u will be able to finish it..

i was same as u watching drama but thank god when i learned about fruits of this month i stopped watching TV in this month coz all the series and program are repeated after ramadhan so i dont lose anythiing if i didnt saw in ramadhan instead of watching TV i read qur'an and many more things....

i hope this ramadhan we'll be near to god as much as we can

Ramadan in Oman has test of friendship, it bring to me back some fond memories when my all relative gathering on one dish eating Iftar (evening meal for breaking fasting).

We use to enjoy every moment to have some fun and exchange visiting between our friends and relatives.

To prepare ourselves we have to first prepare our souls not thinking about various types of food and meals.

Unfortunately the income of hyper market get doubled just few days before the starting of Ramadan and the reason the huge number of people with huge quantity of food stuff which contradicting with high goal of this blessed month

Fasting Ramadhan has lot of wisdoms which we have all -as Muslim- to realize them, not just stop eating and drinking without recognizing the benefits of fasting

thanx god we are muslims and we get all this benefits from beggining of our health till happiness and increassing our iman

totally agree with u in purple. in my side ifeel like people are waiting this month only for shopping, ramsa, sahra...ec and they actually forget religion side. most of people if am not wrong are spending their time in sleeping and watching tv programms in order to pass time, enjoyment as well as makes them busy and forget them their hunger....
i didnt mean that people have to only stick in prayers and ibada and forget other neeeds so there should be banced
