My amazing trip to KL, Malaysia (Truly Asia)

Hey all

What’s up


Well I promised some of you that I would write down details of my trip to Malaysia



Let me see lets go back to the 23rd of September, the departure day
Well we went early to the airport, my dad drove us

Both me and ma sis were very excited to leave, I was in the back seat chatting, lol as usual

You know VIP la

Any how we checked in, said our byes and got in the gate

Waiting for our flight

That is when Elvira called Smiley, to wish her a safe trip back to UK as she was going to fly the same day.


We board into the flight
As usual my sis takes the window seat, and I have to suffer with the isle seat, good thing is I don’t have to ask her when ever I want to go out and in.

We flied via Oman Air



To be honest, it was not bad, they have improved big time
The service was good,

The flight duration was 7 hours what a pain

Elvira spend that time sleeping and watching CSI

Departure was 10:20 local Oman time; Arrival was 21:20 local Malaysian time.

Any how we landed, got off the plane, and interred the airport
I was like wow

This airport is bigger then ours

Ehm ehm no offence but I guess we are among the smallest airports in the world

Enough said about the airport

We had arranged for a driver to take us to our hotel
We stayed in a beautiful hotel (can’t write the name, against sabla policy)

It was just beautiful, I loved the service, and above all it was soo near from everything


They have sort of a select type of shop called 7/11
Ofcorse Elvira has to twist everything, so the entire time we were there I used to call it 24/7, and my sis used to hate it when I do that
At the end she gave up and when I say 24/7 she says ok

Loooooooooooool

So back to where I stopped, yeah the driver took us to the hotel, we checked in, and coz we didn’t believe that we were there

We went out for a walk
Awain to see the night in KL


Now let me make it clear, time wise
We arrived at 21:20 got out of the airport by 22:30, and it took us an hour to get to our hotel, and 30 mints to check in

We went out by 00:15 mid night

And trust me those people don’t sleep at all, coz the place was so alive

Bad thing is most the shops were closed and the only thing open was pubs, clubs and few coffee shops.

We walked for like 30 mints, not far from the hotel. Passed by 24/7 lol I mean 7/11 but it was closed so went back to the hotel

Now my sis had a quick shower and went to bed
But Elvira loves toilets

So she took a bubble bath

And by the time I went to bed it was almost 3:00


That is it for the first day, Thursday 23rd of Sep,2010

Day 2


Woke up late la
As I slept late

Funny part is ma sis woke up late too ,

So it was about 9, I could hardly pull ma self from bed, went and took a quick hot shower
And got dressed ready to start the day

Sooo we went out by almost ten, damn hungry and the nearest place that we know was Mc Donald’s

So that is where we went

this was ma meal that morning



With out any plans for that day, we went to the center.
Truth is we were just walking not knowing where we were going

Lol

Any how we got to a stop where we saw a counter



It was the hop on hop off counter, we were told that this bus service can show us around town and it’s a cheap way to go around

They have this 24 hours type of tickets and the 48 hour.

So we decided to take the 48 hours ticket coz it was cheap, like RM 65

Now that buss stops in few point in KL, making it easy for a tourist to visit those places all in one day,
The drill is

They have stops numbered 1-22, and the buss passes through that stop every 30 mints



Meaning I can get to a stop at 9:00 then stay there 30 mint of an hour then go get the next buss back


That all sound like a great deal to us.

Now on that first day we went first to the National Museum, stop number 12, spend like an hour there

Then went back to the buss stop, hoped in the buss and hoped off at the Bird Park.
Now that should have been stop number 14, but Elvira and her sis heard wrong, we heard the lady say we are at stop number 14 bird park
While she was actually saying we will now move to stop number 14 Bird Park


Now stop number 13 and stop number 14 are not far from each other, however it’s a damn hill and it took us 15 mints walk to climb it.
And if you know Elvira you would know that she hates hard labour.

Continues of day 2

Any how, with that hot weather I did the time, I mean the walk. Got up there and first thing I do is go to the counter and get ma self cold watermelon juice.

Tickets to the Bird park were almost 5 rial, my sis was like damn 5 rials to see some birds, actually it was like 45 RM.
Any how Elvira loved Birds so we went

And it was amazing, even ma sis loved it
